Caribbean College of the Bible
International Ltd. (CCBI) is incorporated in Trinidad, Belize and Kenya
as a non-profit Christian Ministry. Our International Office is located in Trinidad West Indies.
CCBI is interdenominational, evangelical and interracial.
Our calling is to provide a high quality Christian education by correspondence
to countries whose Christian leaders do not wish to leave their country
for a traditional residential education.
CCBI was founded and developed by educators who were trained according
to the North American model of university accreditation. However, as
we have served a student population in countries accustomed to a European
model of higher education, we are using a similar model of independent
study, under faculty and/or denominational mentors. This new direction
does not include U.S. accreditation. Instead, CCBI seeks approval from
three segments of each CCBI division:
- Christ-centered churches and denominations in the area
- Local Bible colleges
- Ministers of education in local governments.
Transferring Credits
- Southern Baptist International Mission Board accepted CCBI credits
in 1998 for a career missionary appointment to Belize.
- The Nazarene denomination has accepted our course work for appointments
and promotions, one case in point being the headmaster of Nazarene
High School in Belize City.
- A young woman in Guyana, who several years ago did her Bachelors
with CCBI, reported to us that Oral Roberts University accepted her
to begin a Masters program.
- In Nairobi, Kenya, a young teacher was accepted by Kenyatta University
with his CCBI Bachelor degree for a highly competitive scholarship
on his Masters degree.
- One of our instructors was promoted in her Human Services job in
Cookeville, Tennessee, on the basis of her seminary work with CCBI.
Nonetheless, we always advise students not to use CCBI as a stepping
stone to another school, as each institution has its own policies regarding
transfer credits.

Quality Policy Statements
- To provide the student with a strong, practical curriculum balanced
with ministry projects, all designed to develop knowledge, experience
and enthusiasm in service to God.
- To prepare the student to become an effective pastor, teacher, missionary,
soul-winner and Christian worker.
- To develop the student into a strong Christian leader of his/her
own area, with a firm foundation in the Bible. "Study to show
yourself approved unto God, a workman who needs not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15.
- To strengthen the student's faith in God and His ability to work
through the student. "I can do all things through Christ who
strengthens me." Philippians 4:13.
- To develop within the student a personal prayer and faith life which
will miraculously move the hearts of a nation and spread into other
lands as he/she begins to actively carry out the Great Commission
of Matthew 28:19-20.
- To establish a strong spiritual fellowship among Christians leaders
world-wide, generating enthusiasm and encouragement.
