1. The first set of courses will be
sent after enrollment, registration and
first tuition fees have been paid.
2. The work schedule should begin
immediately after materials are
received. The Syllabus, (instruction
sheet), has been carefully prepared by
the instructor and MUST BE FOLLOWED
EXPLICITLY!
3. Begin work immediately on ONE
course.
4. Type work very clearly,
using ALL PRINCIPLES OF FORMAL ENGLISH
GRAMMAR AND PUNCTUATION. Most
instructors will consider these
principles along with content as they
evaluate course work.
5. ALWAYS include student's name and
number, course title and number, as well
as name of instructor on course work.
6. Wrap all posted materials to be
returned very securely with both inner
and outer wrappings (for water-proofing)
before mailing. Mail handling can be
extremely rough in both the United
States and abroad. Mail to National
Director or CCBI office. On-line
students email to Instructor's address,
ccbi@tstt.net.tt
7. Choice of third course should be
included as first course is sent to
Instructor or CCBI office.
8. Begin immediately on the next
course, which already should have been
received. It is very important to
continue with the established study
routine without a break.
9. Continue this procedure, always
with one course in progress and one in
reserve, at the average rate of about
one course completed and sent per month.
10. If a course is returned marked F
or Incomplete, do whatever is required
immediately (while the information is
fresh) and be encouraged by the
knowledge that your college has high
standards and expectations.
SEMINARS
Although primarily a distance education
college, CCBI faculty offers in-class
courses frequently in countries where we
have students and available instructors.
Students in the area chosen should make
every effort to enroll and attend each
resident course for the valuable
classroom experience, student
interaction and establishment of
teacher-student relationships. Watch our
Web page announcements for these seminar
announcements.
MINISTRY PROJECTS
Every CCBI student is required to be
actively involved in a tangible regular
ministry for the Lord in the church,
community or mission field. The project
MUST be OVER AND ABOVE regular
activities (for instance, a pastor could
not use hospital calls as his project; a
lay person could). The same project
cannot be used every semester; there
must be a new outreach. They are to be
reported on the form provided. For
undergraduate students, Ministry
Projects will be the 16th credit needed
for a full semester's work. No credit is
given for graduate students' Ministry
Project, but it is required nonetheless.
These are a distinctive feature of our
practical curriculum and MUST BE DONE.
