A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (128 semester hours) from an approved Bible School is required for admission to the Master's program. Ministry Credits for Associate and Bachelor
It is customary in many colleges to grant ministry credits upon evaluation of the years the candidate has been active in the field in which a degree is sought. We believe this is appropriate, thus we will be happy to evaluate the ministries in which the student has been involved and to allow semester hours accordingly, at $5.00 per credit hour paid with initial tuition. Eligible students who so desire may submit a written description detailing full time ministries. Generally, one semester hour will be granted for each year of full-time Christian service. In no case will ministry credits be granted for more than 32 semester hours on the Associate or Bachelor Degree levels, and none beyond the bachelor level.

Transfer Credits for Associate and Bachelor
Students may transfer up to 96 credits from approved Bible colleges if the student majored in one of CCBI's subject majors or up to 64 transfer credits from approved secular academic schools. Students transferring from secular schools, or secular majors, must take all required courses for their chosen major.
Every student, regardless of the number of combined Ministry and Transfer credits, must complete a minimum of 16 CCBI credits to earn an Associate degree; 32 CCBI credits to earn a Bachelor degree; 48 CCBI credits to earn a M.T.S. degree.

Standards
Failure to send in work for a two month period, or failure to complete the minimum hours per semester will result in academic probation and the student can be dropped from our active student register. The student may resume studies after paying the re-activation fee.

Appeals will be considered for students who experience unusual or mitigating circumstances which prevent adherence to the CCBI time-table.

Students must select a mentor, that is, an advisor who will agree to confer with a student monthly concerning student's progress, doctrinal matters or difficult questions, and provide encouragement. The name, address and phone number (E-mail if possible) of the mentor must be provided on student's application form, in the section indicated for references. The mentor may be contacted by the college if a student appears to be having difficulties.

Students have the right to disagree with books, lectures and other course materials, but the student must give an acceptable statement and Biblical evidence backing his/her point of disagreement. CCBI is not affiliated with any particular denomination and clearly avoids turning students toward or away from a denomination, although comparative religion courses examine many groups.

Students must keep all tuition payments current. When a student has missed a total of two months, he/she will be dropped and must pay the re-activation fee.
Students must maintain high moral and ethical values. Failure to do this will result in an official investigation and appropriate Christ-like action.
A student may request a leave-of-study up to two months. The student will not be required to study nor pay tuition during an official leave.

Graduation Requirements

  1. A Christian character which the college can recommend.
  2. Commendable zeal, faithfulness and effective Christian service requirements.

Procedures

1. The first set of courses will be sent after enrollment, registration and first tuition fees have been paid.

2. The work schedule should begin immediately after materials are received. The Syllabus, (instruction sheet), has been carefully prepared by the instructor and MUST BE FOLLOWED EXPLICITLY!

3. Begin work immediately on ONE course.

4. Type work very clearly, using ALL PRINCIPLES OF FORMAL ENGLISH GRAMMAR AND PUNCTUATION. Most instructors will consider these principles along with content as they evaluate course work.

5. ALWAYS include student's name and number, course title and number, as well as name of instructor on course work.

6. Wrap all posted materials to be returned very securely with both inner and outer wrappings (for water-proofing) before mailing. Mail handling can be extremely rough in both the United States and abroad. Mail to National Director or CCBI office. On-line students email to Instructor's address, ccbi@tstt.net.tt

7. Choice of third course should be included as first course is sent to Instructor or CCBI office.

8. Begin immediately on the next course, which already should have been received. It is very important to continue with the established study routine without a break.

9. Continue this procedure, always with one course in progress and one in reserve, at the average rate of about one course completed and sent per month.

10. If a course is returned marked F or Incomplete, do whatever is required immediately (while the information is fresh) and be encouraged by the knowledge that your college has high standards and expectations.

SEMINARS
Although primarily a distance education college, CCBI faculty offers in-class courses frequently in countries where we have students and available instructors. Students in the area chosen should make every effort to enroll and attend each resident course for the valuable classroom experience, student interaction and establishment of teacher-student relationships. Watch our Web page announcements for these seminar announcements.

MINISTRY PROJECTS
Every CCBI student is required to be actively involved in a tangible regular ministry for the Lord in the church, community or mission field. The project MUST be OVER AND ABOVE regular activities (for instance, a pastor could not use hospital calls as his project; a lay person could). The same project cannot be used every semester; there must be a new outreach. They are to be reported on the form provided. For undergraduate students, Ministry Projects will be the 16th credit needed for a full semester's work. No credit is given for graduate students' Ministry Project, but it is required nonetheless. These are a distinctive feature of our practical curriculum and MUST BE DONE.
